About Morris B

In 2004 Christine Vonbun, accomplished accessory designer, started Morris B.
Having designed high-end handbags for most of her life, the goals were obvious:

• Design a collection of handbags with timeless elegance. Bags with attitude, bags that set their own trends.
  
  
• Manufacture handbags without compromising Quality: Construction, Leather and Hardware.

At Morris B only the finest raw materials are used, the leathers - mainly Italian calf leathers - are carefully selected from Italian tanneries. The hardware comes from the best manufacturers in Italy.

All bags are 100% manufactured in Canada. Production runs are small, and are all supervised by Christine herself to ensure that every bag is made to her exacting standards. All this to ensure that every Morris B bag will last a lifetime.

Our Number 1 goal is to produce a truly luxurious handbag for a reasonable price.

About Christine

Having grown up in Vienna, Austria, Christine Vonbun graduated from one of Europe’s leading fashion institutes, specializing in handbag design. Soon after, she earned her Mastercraftsman Certificate in the field of fine handbag manufacturing and accomplished herself as a patternmaker.

After her initial employment at a small, exclusive handbag manufacturer in Vienna, Christine moved to Cape Town, South Africa to work in the design and development department of a large manufacturer of exotic skin handbags.

From South Africa to London, where she worked extensively with the Far East, training factories in China and Indonesia to achieve European handbag manufacturing standards.

She has finally set up in Toronto. Her experience in the Far East has brought her full circle, leading her to the realisation that her passion still lies in her original training:
